BODYBOARD SIZE CHART
FINS SIZE CHART
PP core: Kinetic PP This core material is designed for speed and projection. Its durability is unrivaled by any other core. Lightweight and rigid, this core will perform exceptionally well in warmer waters where other cores become slow and unresponsive.
EPS core: EPS is a lightweight material used on budget boards. This stiff but lightweight foam provides the ideal platform for diving onto broken waves and riding them to the beach. It offers great buoyancy and a reasonable amount of flex.
Stringer: Carbon Fibre Stringer Designed to add longevity to a board by improving stiffness and recoil while also greatly increasing the ability for projection. The stringer also enhances performance and control.
ISS : Interchangeable Stringer system. This system allows you to change the stringer of your board. Different stringers are available on the market : Flex, Medium flex, Stiff, Stiff+. This way you can fine tune the flexibility of your board depending on the wave temperature and conditions.
Deck: 8lb PE Decking A very durable and comfortable decking material that is designed to allow your body to lock with your board.
Surlyn Slick: Surlyn Channeled Slick Surlyn is your only choice for a slick if you demand the greatest amount of response and durability. This high performance slick is the finest grade surlyn made only by Dupont, featuring elastic-like qualities and superior projection.
HDPE Slick: Resistant and durable slick material.
Channels: Graduated Channels Ensure that the rider gets enough hold on the waves without being locked into undesirable situations.
Tail: Clipped Crescent Tail Provides superior control and hold on the wave face while also allowing for ease of rail to rail transitions and release from carves and spins.
Bull Grips: Small bulbs on the underside of the nose that enhance grip and control.
Nose and Tail Bumpers: An additional layer of padding on the nose and tail of the board that promotes longevity and durability.
55/45, 60/40, 50/50 Rails : The numbers represent a rail/chine ratio. The 60/40 means that 40% is chine - the top part around the deck - and 60% is the lower proportion in direct contact with the wave. 60/40 rails will give more control to the board while 50/50 will accentuate speed.
